About Macro Notes
Macro Notes is a text-first iOS calorie and macro tracker: you type what you ate in plain words and it works out the macros. We pay small fitness, nutrition and lifestyle creators a fixed fee per video, plus a bonus when a video outperforms.
We work with creators on TikTok and Instagram who typically get 1,000–5,000 views per post. Your audience matters more to us than your follower count.
What we pay
Each video earns a £30 base fee, plus up to £40 in view bonus and £15 if we use it as an ad — up to £85 per video.

For example, a video that reaches 12,000 views earns £30 + £14 bonus = £44. If we also run it as an ad, that's £59.
We can run these videos as an ad, in either or both of these ways:
- Boost your post: we promote your original post from your account using TikTok Spark Ads (you send us a Spark code) or Instagram Partnership Ads (you approve us in the Partnership Ads Hub). Likes and comments stay on your post, and we never need your password.
- Run it from our account: you send us the video file, and we run it as an ad from the Macro Notes account. We may trim it, add captions or crop it for different placements, but we won't change what you say or present it as anyone else.
We only pay this fee if we choose to use your video in ads, and we'll always tell you before we start.
Rebook option
We start with one video. If it goes well, we can rebook you within 30 days for two more videos at the same rates, with no renegotiation.
Creators we rebook more than once may be offered a monthly retainer.
What we ask for in each video
You choose the format and the angle. Your audience knows you, so make it feel like your normal content. Each video should:
- Be a vertical video, roughly 15–60 seconds, posted to your own TikTok or Instagram.
- Show Macro Notes on screen being used, ideally logging a real meal.
- Avoid promising weight-loss results or making medical claims.
- Stay live for at least 30 days.
We'll send a short brief with the key features and a few hook ideas, but you don't have to follow a script.
How it works
- Reply to our message to say you accept these terms.
- Install Macro Notes and add your email under Settings → Email, so we can find your account. We then give you free Pro access so you can use the app properly on camera.
- You film your video and post it whenever suits you. No approval needed.
- You send us the link once it's live.
- We pay the base fee, then the view bonus 14 days later.
Payment and small print
- Payment is by PayPal or Wise, in GBP, within 7 days of each payment point.
- Views are counted from your post's analytics 14 days after posting. A screenshot is fine.
- You keep ownership of your video. We only get ad usage rights if we exercise the option, and they have no time limit.
- No exclusivity: you're free to work with other brands, including other apps.
- You're responsible for your own tax on what we pay you.
